Time Out International has launched ‘Time Out Delhi’ in association with India’s Paprika Media Private Ltd. The fortnightly magazine, hit the news stands on April 5.
Available at Rs 30, Time Out Delhi will be presented in the globally acclaimed ‘Time Out’ format. Targeted at the upwardly mobile Delhi readers, the magazine aims to provide information on capital’s entertainment and lifestyle scene. Subscribers of the magazine will also be able to access its website, www.timeoutdelhi.net.
According to Avtar Singh, Editor, Time Out Delhi, informed that with Delhi being the seat of government and also the cultural centre, both Indian and foreign, its music and dance circuits are vibrant and alive; and the magazine aims to provide the hardworking delhiites with options on what they can do when they have time off. |

| Time Warner’s Hair magazine to be launched in India |

UK-based IPC Media, the specialised publishing arm of Time Warner company has tied up with the Indian contract publisher, Spenta Multimedia to launch its hair care magazine, Hair in India, in July.
The magazine aims to provide its readers with the most up-to-date haircuts, colours and trends. Apart from that celebrity styles, expert advice and makeovers will be part of the content. The magazine will try to have a judicious mix of national and international content.

It is learnt that the two companies are in the advanced stage of discussion.

Business Standard signs MoU with AajKaal

Business Standard has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for marketing alliance with the Gujarati evening newspaper Desh Pardes Ni AajKaal.
Business Standard plans to leverage AajKaal’s strong agent network to grow its circulation in the Saurashtra and Kutch regions, according to an official communiqué.
Besides, Business Standard has launched an advertising combination with AajKaal, the first of which will have option for statutory notices, results etc., available to advertisers and will expand to other categories in the next stage.

Contract publisher Spenta Multimedia has been appointed by Clothing manufacturers association of India (CMAI) to publish its monthly magazine from May 2007. The magazine would provide articles on business and fashion trends, as well in-depth analysis of the industry.
* Mid Day Multimedia launches Mid Day Delhi
Mid Day Multimedia has launched its Delhi edition ‘Mid Day Delhi’ on May 2. The Delhi product would be on the same content lines as Mid Day Mumbai.
According to Cyriac Mathew, COO, Mid Day, the tabloid priced at Rs 2 is targeted at the young urban mobile readers.
* Deccan Chronicle to launch Bangalore edition
Deccan Chronicle Holdings, said that its board has approved plans for a Bangalore edition of the daily, which is expected to start printing in the current financial year.
