Chronosphere, the publishing consultancy and online publishing firm, has put on sale its 16 Indian news-cum-business
networking websites, going by the common branding of Indian Business Observer websites.
Each of the website caters to different emerging business sectors in the steadily-growing
Indian economy and is structured by solutions that serve the communication and marketing needs of the otherwise un-served B2B community.
The Observers are backed by a strong business plan, that provides 10 different revenue models, including content-based models like
- news,
- news trackers,
- business
intelligence reports,
- industry research reports,
- custom publishing and
- PR.
The non-content-based solutions offer a wide array of options like
- business
networking gatherings,
- custom events,
- sectoral jobs,
- sponsored niche seminars,
- exlusive market research and
- freelance exchange.
For the community's
self-promotions, the websites have a huge section
with self-promotion tools like
- photo galleries,
- video links and
- a point system that can be used to avail paid services
.
Chronosphere has decided to put the websites on sale, specifically for any international B2B publishing company, which is seeking a long-term and profitable presence in India.
The sale is also necessitated by Chronosphere's own failure in raising the required working capital to implement the business plan. Chronosphere's funds were largely utilised
to develop the websites and promote these for a period of two years.
Chronosphere's CEO Bhupesh Trivedi, who has spoken at various media events of ABM, PPA, Distripress, Frankfurt Book Fair, OIC Events and others, has offered his personal
involvement on the implementation of Observers' business plan for the websites' eventual success for a period of two years.
